I am a fourth generation San Francisco Bay Area native who was very late to appreciate the amazing beauty around me. A Save The Bay teacher training in 2001 deserves credit for redirecting my eye to nature.
My interest in photography grew out of my volunteer life, but is now a central part of how I experience the world. I find great joy in capturing unique moments of personality in animals, especially birds. More recently, I started exploring landscapes, and enjoy showing peaceful places and inviting paths.
